
José Seco
José Seco is a Biologist, master in Ecology from the Faculty of Science and Technology and in collaboration with Instituto do Mar (IMAR), University of Coimbra. His main research interests are prey/predator interactions and a better understanding of trophic interactions in Antarctica.
He was a member of the research project PENGUIN that had the objective of understanding the feeding ecology of two penguin species that compete for the same habitat at Livingston Island. During this project José also participated and continues to participate in outreach campaigns in schools and universities.
He has been a member of APECS Portugal executive committee since October of 2012.
