Diana Vaz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of Algarve (2021) and a Master’s degree in Marine and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Aveiro (2023).

  Her master’s project focused on the quantification of mercury in Antarctic fish species, Antimora rostrata and Macrourus holotrachys, in the Scotia Sea, Southern Ocean.

  Her main areas of interest include climate change, marine ecotoxicology, and polar ecology.
