O​​guzhan Solak holds a Bachelor´s degree in Biology from the Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany) and is a final year Master`s student in Marine Sciences – Marine Resources at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS).

   He is currently studying climate change impacts on Pygoscelis penguins in Antarctica in the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR).
