Cláudia Ribeiro has a degree in Marine Biology from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Algarve and recently completed her Master’s in Marine Sciences – Marine Resources at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto.

   During her master’s, she collaborated with Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR) to develop her thesis, investigating the impacts of climate change on the reproductive trends of three penguin species in the Antarctic Peninsula.

   Cláudia joined the Executive Committee of APECS Portugal in November 2024.
