Guilherme Jeremias

Guilherme Jeremias

   Guilherme Jeremias holds a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.

   Currently, he is a PhD student in Aveiro and Ghent Universities, working on the adaption of freshwater species to climate change and pollution.

​   He has participated in one Antarctic expedition to King George, Ardley and Nelson Islands (under the scope of the ReACT project – Portuguese Polar Programme) as well as been involved in organizing the Portuguese Polar Sciences Conference and several other Polar Science outreach activities.

   Guilherme Jeremias has been a member of the Executive Committee of APECS Portugal since February 2020.
